Privacy.
What this website collects, what we do with anything you send us, and what we will never do with it.
The short version
This website does not set cookies, does not run analytics, does not embed trackers, and does not have a login. If you read these pages and leave, we do not know that you were here and we have nothing about you. If you email us, we have your email, and we use it to answer you.
What this website collects
Nothing that identifies you is collected by the pages themselves. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, no social media embed and no cookie banner — because there are no cookies to ask you about.
Like every website, ours is delivered by a web server, and web servers keep routine logs of requests. Those logs may include an IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser's own description of itself. They are used for keeping the site running and secure, and for nothing else. They are not combined with anything, not used to build a profile, and not sold or shared.
The pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers to fetch them. We do not receive any information from that request. If you prefer not to make it, a content blocker will prevent it and the site will still read correctly in a system typeface.
What happens when you email us
When you write to us, we receive your message, your email address, and anything you chose to put in the message. We use it to answer you and to keep track of the conversation. We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful for that, and we delete it when it is not.
We do not add you to a mailing list because you wrote to us. We do not send marketing to an address that contacted us for support.
What we never do
- We do not sell personal information, and we never have.
- We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
- We do not ask for passwords, card numbers or government identification numbers by email, and we will never send you a link that asks you to enter one.
Our software products
This page is about the website. Each product we publish has its own privacy policy covering the information inside that product, and that policy is what applies when you use it. Where a product is offered through an app marketplace, its privacy details are also published on its listing there.
The principle is the same across all of them: information you put into our software belongs to you, you can get it back out, and we do not sell it.
Children
This website and our business products are intended for adults and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices
Because this website collects nothing about you, there is nothing here to request, correct or delete. If you have emailed us and you would like that correspondence deleted, write to us and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights over personal information a company holds about you. Write to us and we will honor them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how any of this works — for example if we ever add analytics or a form to this website — we will change this page and update the date at the top before the change goes live, not after.
